“My 2 year old is verbal but he’s been a very slow talker and rarely puts short sentences together.
The first short sentence he ever said was about a month ago when he said “I’m so funny!” It was awesome.
Fast forward to yesterday and we are driving in the car. He says “sip?” I look down and all I have is coffee. No biggie. I’ll give him one sip. He’ll live.
So I’m like “yes, baby. You can have one little sip”. I reach back and hand it to him.
Then he says “ahhhh yes…coffees”.
I love my life.”
